people keep voluntarily buying and installing these domestic surveillance devices that provide the silicon valley tech giant 24/7 video and audio feeds like it's nothing and nobody is really talking about it at all, it's freaking me the fuck out man. what gives? this shit advertises unconditional biometric scanning as a selling point and people are just pointing these Google and Amazon "security" cameras at their neighbors and deliverypeople with absolutely zero regard for the fact they are opting in to a mass surveillance network of their own creation. not to mention their collaboration with law enforcement, ICE, flock, etc. what the fuck? where is the chatter about this?
