this is a gemini capsule. this is a given if you are visiting using a gemini browser. however, a pawful of perl and a dash of Make is used to generate a web mirror, and therefore it is possible you are visiting from the web. the web mirror is otherwise a perfect replica, but it is presently unable to translate gemini CGI scripts, nor will it ever. try installing a gemini browser, such as lagrange! this mirror is heavily inspired by the sunshinegardens mirror.

the Make file which is used to generate the web mirror also does some post-processing on the gemini version, such as to compress and dither images. it also bundles up all of the sources into a tarball which is published as part of both the gemini and web distributions. using Make in this way was inspired by karl berlin.
